Wednesday Apr 13, 2022
Wednesday Apr 13, 2022
Rickie and Natalie have had numerous conversations about wanting to have more episodes around the topic of divorce, the good the bad and the ugly.
Everyone’s experience with Divorce is unique, some relationships end after a few months, years, and even decades. One party is usually more irrational than the other and in rare cases both parties are civil and on the same page.
The Important thing here to highlight is the resilience after going through the journey of Divorce.
On this Episode we’re going to listen to Natalie's cousin Marlene, a beautiful 31year old woman that got married at 18 and divorced 7 years later.

Why don’t we have a solid definition of a woman - well, maybe it’s because we haven’t really cared to find out?? Late Friday night Rickie messaged Natalie to notify her that the clitoris was only researched in 2005! ...2005!
We get into this and many other maddening topics on this episode with a special guest sitting in on this conversation, our friend and neighbor Giselle Johnson. Enjoy!

Natalie's first memory of Clarissa was her wearing some pink cowboy boots and a hat. I cant remember the exact outfit but she was dancing to a cartoon on TV and based on her personality at her young age of 6 I thought, oh this girl is definitely my relative and then i thought she’s going to be unapologetically herself and do what her heart desires. and now here you are a licensed massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, a 21 year old mom to 9 month old Indi and actively breaking generational traumas at home.

On This Frequency, a Pisces. Happy Birthday!
Wednesday Mar 09, 2022
Wednesday Mar 09, 2022
Once upon a time in 2016, Rickie and Michael Mota were sitting at a bar in South Ontario when Michael told Rickie about this girl named Natalie that he was dating, “She reads books,” Michael told her. “She loves avocados, has cats and wants to start her own podcast. She’s real organized, and she’s writing her own episodes.”
Here we are 5 years later celebrating the one year “official” anniversary of On This Frequency. What memories we do have with the birth of this podcast is starting it in the middle of the pandemic - Natalie and Rickie were doing Instagram LIVE videos and discussing the state of the world, Rickie was complaining about Young Pueblo’s poetry books that annoyed her with truth, Natalie and Rickie were casually and unknowingly building a foundation for their podcast now.

In Good Company with Food, Drinks, and Special Guest Nibbling with Noel
Wednesday Feb 23, 2022
Wednesday Feb 23, 2022
Our special guest this week is Nibbling with Noel! She first cooked for the Rose City Sound family during Natalie and Mike’s covid wedding that took place at Rickie's apartment when Noel prepared a shockingly delicious ricotta free lasagna. And speaking of COVID when the lockdown hit and Noel had to work from home she discovered just how much she enjoyed cooking.
As a result, Noel decided to start a cooking blog where she shared her recipes, tips, tricks, - all of her enthusiasm for cooking is now being shared with the world on Instagram. Preparing someone a meal is an act of love and we were happy to enjoy a delicious meal and a great conversation with her on this episode!
Remember to catch her IG @nibblingwithnoel.
